I hate the Red Wings

Published by ndtii95 at 5:04 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I’ve said it before……it’s just not fair.

I thoroughly expected Columbus to give Detroit a better battle to this point.  Yet, as usual, Detroit has found another level to crank it up to in the playoffs.

But this is not why I hate them.

“We were a little bored at the end of the season,” Osgood said. “That sounds bad, but it’s honest.

“We were looking forward to the playoffs 100 per cent. We couldn’t wait to get through that last month. I was actually shocked by how many wins we got in March. We were always talking about getting to the playoffs. We couldn’t wait.”

Oh, and…….

“If you compare our last two (playoff) games to our previous seven, eight or nine games, it’s almost like two different teams,” defenceman Brad Stuart said. “Part of that is there’s more excitement, but also knowing that at this time of year if you don’t do that, you’ll find yourself hitting the exits pretty soon.

“So you find a way to crank it up a bit.”

It’s just not fair.

I LOVE Mike Richards of the Flyers.  He is a warrior, a tremendously skilled player, and takes grit, heart and determination to new levels.  If I were a woman, I’d want to have his baby.  I am jealous that he is on a team that I cannot stand.

—————————————

It’s going to be a very short postseason for the Flames if they can’t figure out how to hold a lead.

—————————————

I’m well aware that Henrik Lundqvist is an outstanding goaltender.  A goaltender capable of stealing a playoff series, in fact.  But I certainly didn’t foresee him making complete monkeys out of the Capitals powerhouse offense.  Given that the Rangers are now firmly grasping the home-ice advantage, this series might be over already.  Ovechkin better warm up that stick, or his team is in deep trouble.

Wow. So a person who claims to have been a Sabres fan for 25 years suddenly gives up on them?

And then slams me over a satirical rant?

And brings up “No Goal” in a completely unrelated context?

Wow. I must say, I’ve been put in my place, sir. I will now forever worship at the altar of the Red Wings and completely renounce my beloved Sabres.

I now HATE THE SABRES, just like my new hero Mike S.!!!!!!

In 2001 when hasek was slapped in the face by the sabres i vowed to be a fan of what ever team got him his cup. So i could be a blues fan for what its worth. It just happened to be the wings . I hate that the sabres powers that be will shit on loyal fans take there money for tickets ect. And promise to get there next year and we will get that player we need and do nothing but get rid of the good players they have .So sabres fans are left with just a dream. Nothing more no playoffs or seldome and for sure NO CUP Your hero THE ASSHOLE !! P.S. Im an ASSHOLE and proud of it

OK, at least make sure the facts are straight. Hasek didn’t get slapped in the face by the Sabres - he forced his way into being traded (and gave strict parameters for who could and couldn’t be included in said trade, thus meaning Buffalo got crap in return for the best goaltender in the league) to the Red Wings because he felt he wouldn’t have any opportunity to win a cup in Buffalo. Was he right? Possibly - although it was only a season before that when Hasek allowed Darius freaking Kasparitis to float a 75 foot wrister past him to lose in the playoffs - with a team that looked pretty damn strong. But yeah, perhaps he was right that the Sabres weren’t going to be able to finish the job. It doesn’t make his handcuffing of the team any classier of a move. The Sabres paid him millions upon millions of dollars and gave him a platform on which to shine as he became probably the best goaltender of his time - they even fired the NHL Coach of the Year because Hasek didn’t like him. I hardly think that qualifies as slapping him in the face.

Ryan, it was a satire piece. Yes, “hate” is a strong word, but anyone who finds it offensive in this context didn’t get the joke.

I hate the Red Wings too.
I’m tired of them winning the Stanley Cup every other fuckin year.
I’m tired of them throwing that damn octopus on the ice, its fuckin stuipid.
I’m tired of their boring ass logo with only 2 colors.
I’m tired of them calling themselves “hockey town.”
I’m tired of the whole “original 6″ bullshit. What other sport has its own clique for the original teams. NONE, because it is irrelevant.
I’m tired of Marrian Hossa “timing “the Stanley Cup by trying to place a bet on which team will win the cup.
I’m sick and tired of the Red Wings period. I hope they get a new sports curse, where they don’t see a Stanley Cup for over 100 years

DISMANTLE THE RED WINGS, SO THE NHL WON’T BE SO DAMN BORING AND PREDICTABLE!!!!
